Born in Tokyo.
In 1971, Harumi Miyatsuka graduated from Musashino Art University, Department of Oil Painting.
After graduation, she served as an assistant at the university.
She later moved to Los Angeles, where she studied sculpture and copperplate engraving at Palos Verdes Art Center, further expanding the scope of her painting practice.

Today, Miyatsuka continues to develop her international activities, participating in exhibitions and symposiums in Japan, the United States, China, Europe, and other regions.
She is a member of the Japan Artists Association and the International Association of Art(IAA), a UNESCO-affiliated organization.

Miyatsuka’s works are characterized by clear colors, overlapping brushstrokes, and a quiet resonance, expressing memory, time, and emotion through color and form.

東京都生まれ。
1971年、武蔵野美術大学造形学部油絵専攻を卒業。
卒業後、同大学で助手を務める。
後にアメリカ・ロサンゼルスに渡り、Palos Verdes Art Centerにて彫刻と銅版画を学び、絵画表現の幅を広げた。
現在は日本、アメリカ、中国、ヨーロッパなどで展覧会やシンポジウムに参加し、国際的に活動を展開している。
美術家連盟会員、ユネスコ国際美術連盟(IAA)会員。

宮塚の作品は澄んだ色彩、重なり合う筆致、静かな余韻を特徴としており、記憶と時間と感情を色と形によって表現している。
